As the title suggests, I took my trusty 50mm f/1.8 for a walk in the field behind our house just on sunset. This lens is so simple and yet, in my opinion, takes amazing shots (for under $150). I’d love to move up to the f/1.4 to get the USM focusing speed, but most of these shots were taken with manual mode anyway.
These are all straight off the camera with the exception of a couple of croppings.
I was going for 2001: A Space Odyssey vibe in this one...
This is one of my favourites from the set... this poor little guy was hanging on in the wind. The photo has an 'edge of the abyss' feel to me.
